Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp dried Nettle Leaf

  • 1 tbsp dried Dandelion Leaf

  • 1 tbsp dried Dandelion Root

  • 3 pieces of dried Astragalus Root

  • 1 tbsp dried Raspberry Leaf

  • 1 tbsp dried Alfalfa Leaf

  • 1 tbsp dried Hawthorn Berry

  • 1 tsp dried Dulse

  • 1 tbsp dried Rose Hips

  • 2 tbsp dried Elderberry

  • ¾ cup Honey

  • 2 cups Water

Instructions

  1. Rinse all the leaves, berries, and roots under cool water to remove any debris.

  2. In a medium pot, combine the roots, dried berries, and dulse with 2 cups of water. Bring to a low boil, then reduce heat to simmer for about 30 minutes, or until the liquid is reduced by half.

  3. Add the leaves and let simmer for another 5 minutes.

  4. Remove from heat. Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve, pressing on the herbs to extract all the liquid. Discard the herbs. While the liquid is still warm, add honey and stir until well combined.

  5. Pour the syrup into a clean, airtight glass bottle. Store in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
