Sparkling Pomegranate Rose Elixir
Instructions
In a small saucepan, bring 1/2 cup of water to a boil. Remove from heat and add the fresh basil leaves. Let them steep for about 10-15 minutes to infuse the basil flavor into the water. Once done, remove the basil leaves and allow the infusion to cool.
In a pitcher, combine the pomegranate juice, fresh lemon juice, rose syrup or rose water, and agave syrup or honey. Stir well until all the ingredients are thoroughly mixed.
Pour the cooled basil infusion into the pitcher with the elixir base.
Pour the elixir base over the ice in each glass, filling them about halfway.
To give your elixir its fizz, top up each glass with sparkling soda water.
