Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup of fresh squeezed lemon juice

  • 1/2 cup of raw honey

  • 1 tbsp dried hawthorn berries

  • 1 tbsp dried rose hips

  • 1 tbsp dried rose buds

  • 1/2 cup strawberries

  • 1 tsp dried blueberries

  • 1 tsp hibiscus flowers

  • 1 tbsp vanilla

  • 1 cinnamon stick

Instructions

  • Place all ingredients in an airtight jar and stir lightly to combine

  • If jar has a metal lid, place parchment paper inbetween the liquid and metal so the acid does not corrode the lid

  • Place in refrigerator and let infuse for 3 days

  • Strain herbs with fine mesh sieve and store oxymel in airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week

  • Use as sweetener for drinks, mocktails, baked goods, desserts, or a daily tincture.
